A NAS Single Pot Still Whiskey comprising of distillate aged between 7 & 10 years. The whiskey has matured in a combination of new bourbon and refill bourbon casks as well as sherry casks.
Nose: Barley sugar, toasted cereals, hint of cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper. Balanced with sweetness of orchard fruits.
Palate: Full bodied spice and fruit sweetness. Toasted oak, vanilla, malt and cereals.
Finish: Medium to full finish, dominated by notes of toasted cereals and barley.

PALATE 💋 : nutty oily mouth feel. Rich spiced, fruit sweetness and smooth toffee caramel
FINISH 🔚 : Long, creamy but spiced

Non-chill filtered
Mash bill of 50% malted and 50% unmalted barley
Nose: Balanced sweetness of fresh stone fruit, vanilla, barley sugar and marshmallows
Palate: cream, toasted barley, vanilla, slightly spiced and balance by fresh fruit.
Finish: vanilla from the American oak casks is dominant for a medium finish.

Not the most complex whiskey you will ever drink. But neither should it need to be. Sometimes enjoyment comes from simplicity.

34% malted barley and 66% grain
Matured in ex-bourbon barrels for 6 months
Nose: malt, hints of dried fruit, brown sugar and vanilla
Palate: bitter orange rind, dried fruit, notes of oak, vanilla and caramel
Finish: caramel sweetness rounded off well.
Rating: 8.5/10
A very strong blend. Not a complex flavour profile but the notes it produces are pronounced and well defined.
